Founded in 1973, the Huizenga School offers a variety of programs to suit each student's individual needs and lifestyle.

  • Weekend Format: Master's programs are typically offered in an alternate-weekend, 18-month format via "The Working Track," which is designed for working professionals who typically complete two courses per ten-week term.
  • Weekday Format: The full-time MBA program is offered in a Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Wednesday format, with classes held at the main campus in Davie, Florida. By completing three to four courses per 13-week term, students finish the program in one year.
  • Online Format: The online programs utilize the latest interactive, Internet-based technologies and offers proprietary courses and custom-developed software. Class sizes are limited to ensure personal attention.

Founded in 1964, Nova Southeastern University is the largest private, not-for-profit institution in Florida. NSU offers a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs to more than 26,000 students. Some of the university highlights include:

  • Sixth-largest private, not-for-profit university in the United States
  • Ranked first in awarding doctoral degrees to African Americans in the United States
  • Sponsor of the Hudson Institute of Executive Education
  • #1 MBA choice in Florida
  • Only master's program (MS in leadership) in the nation to offer coursework in situational leadership, a management model presented and architected by Dr. Paul Hersey

The main campus consists of 300 acres with general-purpose athletic fields and NCAA-qualifying soccer and baseball fields. Six residence halls on the main campus serve undergraduate and graduate students.

NSU's Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Technology Center is the largest library building in Florida. Its catalog is available online, thus providing distance education students with the opportunity to take advantage of its many resources, including books, journal articles, microfiche, dissertations, and the reference desk.

Davie, a city of more than 80,000, maintains a sense of small-town intimacy while its location offers access to the state's metropolitan centers. The area is famous for its wide expanses of sandy beach and tropical climate. Nearby Fort Lauderdale is home to numerous cultural attractions.
