The Career Growth MBA Flexibility is the key component of the Career Growth MBA. One half of the program is in core (required) courses, and one half is in business electives of your choice. We believe you know your personal and professional goals best, so this MBA program allows you to select courses that best meet your needs. Faculty members and academic advisors are always available for guidance.
The core covers: accounting for managers, business finance, leading work behaviors and change, resource allocation, strategic marketing, value chain management, and the capstone--strategic management. Electives are selected from fields such as accounting, entrepreneurship, and leadership. (Read about the Center for Professional Selling in the "Focus On" article in this guide.)
Program Requirements The MBA requires 36 semester hours. The 36-semester-hour minimum consists of 18 hours of core courses and 18 hours of elective courses. Up to three additional hours of business courses may be required. If you earned a U.S. or U.S.-equivalent baccalaureate degree in business, you likely have met the foundation requirements. Upon admission, any required foundation courses must be completed within the first two semesters of enrollment. Foundations can be completed in a self-paced, Web-based format.
