Fort Hays State University is a liberal and applied arts, state-assisted institution with an enrollment of more than 9,500 students located in Hays, Kansas. The university is fully accredited by several national agencies and is one of six state-assisted institutions of higher education governed by a Board of Regents appointed by the governor of the state of Kansas.
Admission applications are accepted throughout the year on a rolling basis. The deadline for graduate assistantship applications is March 1. The application fee is $35. The Graduate School requires a 2.5 GPA on the last 60 undergraduate hours and an accredited bachelor's degree. MBA applicants must also submit a GMAT or other graduate admissions test score (GRE, LSAT, etc.) before completion of 12 credit hours, a résumé, and two letters of recommendation.
