Overview
Established in 1858, the Benedictine College mission as a Catholic, Benedictine, liberal arts, residential college is the education of men and women within a community of faith and scholarship. Within this community, the Benedictine College Graduate Business Program endeavors to prepare students for careers and career advancement by emphasizing global business, technology, entrepreneurship, and values-based leadership.
The BC Graduate Business Program offers two MBA formats. The Traditional MBA has evening classes designed for full- and part-time students. The Executive MBA has Friday night and all-day Saturday classes designed for experienced managers. Benedictine also offers an Intensive Executive MBA format over an 11-week period during summers. Each program is designed for both students with and without business backgrounds. Our programs are regionally accredited and currently under self study with the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (www.iacbe.org).
What Is the Difference between Our MBA Programs?
While both the Traditional and Executive MBA programs are similar, there are key differences. The Traditional MBA is for recent graduates of an undergraduate program or experienced professionals seeking a part-time program to fit their schedule. Curriculum for this program is designed for traditional classroom delivery.
The mission of the Executive MBA program is to prepare managers for significant executive and/or entrepreneurial responsibilities. The one-year format for this cohort model allows managers with five or more years of experience to work in teams to learn from each other, as well as our highly academically and professionally qualified faculty.
