Swinburne University of Technology Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship
The Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship (AGSE) is different as it is an applied management school, and the only postgraduate school in Australia with its primary focus on entrepreneurship and innovation. Located approximately ten minutes from the centre of Melbourne in the vibrant restaurant and shopping district of Hawthorn, the campus is easily accessible by personal vehicles or by public transport. With more than 30 years' experience in delivering high-quality postgraduate business programmes, AGSE offers a fresh approach to business, leadership and management education, and to business research. Currently, AGSE has enrolled approximately 1,400 students on its programmes, with 340 undertaking a specific MBA programme and approximately 23% of these being international students from all over the world, including Europe, Asia and the Americas.

The MBA programme The AGSE combines practical theory with experience-based learning to develop entrepreneurial leaders and innovative thinkers who are practical and competent, and have the requisite knowledge and the skills to succeed in an often turbulent and challenging environment. The Graduate School's MBA programme is a 16-unit programme, and is offered both part time and full time, with convenient class times. The dynamic and interactive classes are made up of a maximum of 25 students from various business backgrounds, and are taught by industry experts. Assessment is made through a range of means, including individual and group work.

Facilities The AGSE has a purpose-built building housing its postgraduate programmes, including a dedicated common room; resource-filled reading room, computer laboratory and syndicate rooms. The campus is wireless, and students also have access to internet and e-mail through computer labs; the library's resources are available online.

MBA programmes on offer General MBA Entry requirements
- Undergraduate degree at a credit level from a recognised tertiary institution.
- A minimum of three years' relevant management work experience.
- Applicants with significant work experience (minimum five years) may also be considered.
- If English is not first language, evidence of proficiency is required; an IELTS score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0, or a TOEFL score of 580. GMAT test scores will also be considered.
Length of programme
- Full time: two years.
- Part time: four years.
