All of our students participate in a vibrant learning environment where they gain the knowledge, skills, and insights necessary to manage complex organizations. Our dedicated faculty members have both academic and business experience, and teach not only the broad principles of management, finance, and marketing but also the more intangible aspects of leadership, interpersonal relations, and business strategy.

The College of Business MBA program offers a flexible program with day, evening, and weekend courses at our beautiful campus in Stony Brook, Long Island, located 60 miles east of New York City (New York City is easily accessible by taking the Long Island Rail Road, which stops on campus). Beyond the Stony Brook campus, our program extends to the far corners of the globe as a result of our relationships with business schools overseas.

In today's competitive and constantly changing world, the need for executive education has never been greater. That's why you'll find the Stony Brook University MBA program to be rigorous, demanding, and, ultimately, rewarding.

Curriculum
Stony Brook offers several MBA programs designed to match your needs. Classes are offered full time and part time, on evenings, and on Saturdays. The regular MBA program consists of 60 credits; 12 core courses and seven elective courses. For those students who already have a master's degree or at least five years of post bachelor's professional work experience, we offer an accelerated 48-credit MBA, consisting of 12 core courses and four electives. All students choose a concentration in one of the following areas: finance, health systems management, human resources management, information systems management, marketing, or management. To allow you to take your classroom knowledge into the real world, you will participate in an industry project and a faculty-sponsored internship.

Our MBA degree program is taught by senior Stony Brook faculty members with decades of experience. They are complemented by key executives recruited as visiting professors--industry leaders who have built stellar careers in today's global business world.
