MBA students can choose from a wide array of concentrations, which include accounting, finance, health care administration, marketing, and project management. A doctoral degree in business administration (DBA) is also offered. MBA students enjoy an innovative and dynamic blended business education that focuses on the application of theory to real-world business leadership. Academic classroom education is integrated with practical career-related experience through a thriving Curricular Practical Training. Students also receive specialized training in the business and organizational culture of U.S. companies. Most of UNVA's MBA students at its U.S. campus work full time--building their curricula vitae as they study.

Location and student life
UNVA's U.S. campus is located in Manassas, Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC. It is in the heart of the region's high-tech corridor and offers a stimulating academic, cultural and employment environment. The university's student life is geared toward the working professional, with students living in shared housing off campus.
Accreditation
The University of Northern Virginia is an accredited private university. It is accredited nationally by the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICIS) and is certified to operate by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia. (SCHEV). It is also a member of the International Assembly of Collegiate Business Education.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 3.0 GPA or equivalent.
- English language proficiency.

42 credit hours (14 courses). Graduation is possible in 1.5 years if studying full time.

Application deadline
The university has a rolling admissions policy with a six-week deadline for application before each term. However, international students are encouraged to apply at least three months in advance to facilitate application and visa processing.
