Location and student life UNVA's U.S. campus is located in Manassas, Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC. It is in the heart of the region's high-tech corridor and offers a stimulating academic, cultural and employment environment. The university's student life is geared toward the working professional, with students living in shared housing off campus.
Accreditation The University of Northern Virginia is an accredited private university. It is accredited nationally by the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICIS) and is certified to operate by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia. (SCHEV). It is also a member of the International Assembly of Collegiate Business Education.

Application deadline The university has a rolling admissions policy with a six-week deadline for application before each term. However, international students are encouraged to apply at least three months in advance to facilitate application and visa processing.
