MBA in Global Management The School's MBA in Global Management (MGM) was created in1998. From the start, this programme has been internationally well received. It is a one-year full-time specialist MBA taught completely in English. The programme is characterised by highly qualified international teaching staff, a multinational and diverse student body, joint research combined with academic excellence, a practical orientation and the option of an in-company internship. The MGM programme aims to provide management skills focused on global business. Graduates of this course are one step closer to becoming specialists. Therefore, it is necessary for applicants to have a basic economic/business awareness before they will be accepted onto the programme, generally proven by a business related bachelor's degree plus two years of practical professional experience. The core components of this programme cover the following areas: ■ global economics and social trends ■ cross-cultural management ■ management of international projects ■ business policies and ethics ■ global marketing ■ international human resources management ■ international finance and financial markets ■ logistics for global business ■ international business law.
As the University also recognises credits earned abroad, students are actively encouraged to take the opportunity to study for some modules at its partner universities.
MBA in International Tourism Management SIB also established an MBA in International Tourism Management (MTM). It is a one-year full-time specialist MBA also taught in English.
