Overview Marymount is a comprehensive Catholic university. The School of Business Administration offers graduate programs that provide a strong foundation in business principles, as well as instruction in the latest technological advances. MBA Program The Marymount MBA prepares graduates for broader management responsibilities in business. Students can tailor their studies to meet specific career objectives with specializations in finance, health care management, human resource management, information technology, international business, legal administration, and marketing. The Essential MBA can be completed in as little as 21 months.
The university also offers graduate degree programs in Information Technology (MS), Human Resource Management (MA), Health Care Management (MS), Legal Administration (MA), and Management (MS). In addition, graduate certificates are offered in many of these disciplines.
Admissions Students are admitted on a full- or part-time basis (starting any semester). All applicants must submit an application with a $40 fee and transcripts of postsecondary work. Letters of recommendation are optional for School of Business Administration students, but a résumé is requested. Completed applications must be received by the following priority deadlines for admission to graduate degree programs in the School of Business Administration: July 15, fall semester; November 15, spring semester; and April 15, summer semester. Tuition Graduate tuition for the 2008-2009 academic year is $690 per credit hour.
Financial Aid Financial aid is available through graduate assistantships, the McGowan scholarship, loans, and federal work-study programs if qualifications are met. The Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant (TAG) is available to Virginia residents who are full-time graduate degree-seeking students.
