Kent MBA Programme
Kent Business SchoolThe Kent MBA is an AMBA accredited General Management Programme with a thematic, integrative approach to the course design. Our methodology is varied and practical and there is much focus on personal development and coaching. Students can either choose to follow the Full-time one-year programme or choose the modular 20 month programme. Our MBA is designed so that both full time and part time students will share some classes so as to enrich the international learning environment and networking opportunities. Our MBA students have at least three years work experience and come from an internationally diverse background and a wide variety of business areas. Our philosophy is to focus on a small, richly diverse group of students where the class size will never exceed 50 participants.

The Kent Business School MBA is a general management programme which develops three key competencies: Critical thinking, performance management and professional development. At the heart of the programme is an aspiration to develop managers who are able to operate effectively in the global business arena and think outside the box, who are prepared to challenge assumptions, avoid blueprints or templates and recognise and respect the importance of diversity. The size and character of our programme ensures you will be able to realise your full potential, gaining thorough grounding in the three key competencies mentioned above and enabling you to excel as an international manager.

Teaching on the MBA programme draws from the interconnecting links between our applied research centres and the corporate community. Our developing elective portfolio in particular benefits from the outputs generated from the applied research centres which have been set up to mirror our academic and business expertise and the issues facing our local and regional business community.
