Dominican UniversityOverview
At the Brennan School of Business, we educate ethical business leaders who will make a significant difference in their business communities. Our goal is to prepare our graduates to respond to complex business issues with confidence and integrity.

This preparation begins with excellent teaching. Our outstanding faculty is composed of highly qualified academics and practicing business professionals who have a passion for teaching. Courses are taught by professors, not graduate assistants. We maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio so that professors truly get to know their students. Students create connections with faculty that last long after graduation.

The curriculum provides a solid global focus because we believe that ethical decision-making requires today's business leaders to understand the economic, political, and cultural dimensions of the countries in which they do business. Students are encouraged to take international business courses that include a week of intensive study in Asia, Europe, or South America. Even those who don't study abroad benefit from the diverse experiences and perspectives provided by classmates who come from more than 30 countries. In addition, because many of our professors participate in our international Executive MBA programs, their teaching is informed and enriched by their global experiences.

Our graduate programs are designed for convenience and flexibility. Most of our students are working professionals who manage significant job responsibilities in addition to going to school. All classes are offered in the evenings and on weekends. Students work with an advisor to design an individualized plan to complete their degree at a workable pace.

The Brennan School of Business is located on Dominican University's main campus in River Forest, Illinois--just ten miles west of Chicago's business district. Students appreciate our proximity to one of the world's largest and most diverse economies and appreciate the enormous business and cultural opportunities that Chicago offers.
