The European Institute of Purchasing Management
Executive MBA
The European Institute of Purchasing Management (EIPM) is a pioneer in purchasing training. The institute was founded in 1990 by ten top European multinationals and the European Union, in order to create a center of excellence in purchasing. The objective of our executive MBA is to train professionals in an international environment to become highly qualified executives with enhanced skills in purchasing and a solid general management knowledge, equipping them to assume other functions in their future career. The EIPM executive MBA offers the unique opportunity in Europe to acquire a qualification which combines both managerial and professional development simultaneously. The EIPM learning experience is based on concepts and skills delivered through a combination of theory and practice, which is ideally suited to a working manager.
Program Structure
The objective of our Part Time Executive MBA program is to build a true purchasing culture by developing and deploying state-of-the-art tools and methods to match students' needs. This Executive Education offers an exceptional opportunity to purchasing professionals to advance their career and gain an advanced degree without interrupting their working activity.
The program consists of 15 intensive residential modules spread over 18 months, but to accommodate working commitments, participants could accomplish the program in as little as 12 months up to a maximum of 30 months. Separate modules are also available "à la carte."
The normal commencement date for each intake is January, however, the program is structured on independent modules giving participants the possibility to start at any stage of the program. One of the EIPM's main strengths is that the school works very closely with businesses, so its students' degrees translate well into the real world. Approximately 90 percent of the people studying on the MBA are sponsored by their companies.
Accreditation/Recognition
The EIPM MBA Program is accredited by AMBA. The school has also a partnership with Grenoble Ecole de Management, exchanging professors for research and some of the course modules.
