Fairfield UniversityThe Charles F. Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University aspires to be recognized nationally and internationally for developing persons of integrity who become part of a community of leaders working for the benefit of all. Setting
The Dolan School is enhanced by our key geographic location, which puts us in close contact with the more than 40 Fortune 500 headquarters located within 50 miles of Fairfield and the close to 100 Fortune 500 headquarters located in New York City and lower Westchester County. We also benefit from Fairfield County hosting the largest concentration of U.S. headquarters of foreign multinational corporations.

Accreditation/Recognition
The Dolan School received full accreditation of its graduate and undergraduate programs by the AACSB International on March 6, 1997. In 2007 the school successfully completed its maintenance of accreditation.

Program Features
The school is housed in a state-of-the-art facility with classrooms (including the Business Education Simulation and trading (BEST) classroom), computer labs, group workrooms, and outstanding media and technology equipment. The school offers classes at night and on weekends to serve the needs of part-time graduate students from the regional business community and its full-time students. Class sizes are small, 20-25 on average. The school is dedicated to the use of the latest classroom teaching technologies and it has a balanced emphasis between individual assignments and group work in a variety of classroom formats. The school faculty have an average of ten years of professional business experience to accompany their strong academic preparation which includes an earned doctorate and, in nearly every case, previous academic work in the liberal arts and sciences, scholarly contributions and ongoing research interests, and continuing professional involvement in their chosen areas of expertise.

Student body at the Dolan School is  44 percent women and 56 percent men.

Tuition
In 2007-2008, tuition was $630 per credit hour. The registration fee was $25 per semester.

Scholarships/Funding
The Dolan School offers several merit-based graduate assistantships and scholarships to full-time students. A limited number of graduate assistantships are available throughout the university.

Entry requirements
BA or BS from a regionally accredited college or university (or the international equivalent) and have demonstrated their ability and potential to do high-quality academic work are encouraged to apply. Consistent with AACSB guidelines, admission requires an appropriate undergraduate GPA and score on the GMAT (at least a 3.0 GPA and GMAT score of at least 500).

Application deadlines
There are no application deadlines; applications are accepted and evaluated on a rolling basis and students may generally begin coursework in any term.
