Programs

The Mason MBA provides a well-rounded business education for those seeking a management career. The curriculum emphasizes leadership development, teamwork, entrepreneurial thinking, and the social and cultural aspects of global business.

The MBA for Executives (EMBA) is tailored to meet the scheduling demands and career advancement needs of experienced executives and professionals. Courses provide a learning forum for developing core management skills, tools for sustainable business performance, and talents for developing strategy and leadership.

The MS in Accounting (MSA) is designed for individuals seeking to advance their knowledge and skills in business and accounting and accelerate their career potential. The program is tailored to meet the requirements of the Virginia's Uniform CPA Examination.

The MS in Technology Management is for those who wish to further their leadership careers in technology-oriented businesses. It emphasizes leadership, management, and analytical skills and the interrelationships of technology and management in a globally networked marketplace. Additionally, TechMan graduates are all awarded chief information officer (CIO) certification, in partnership with the Federal CIO Council.

Accreditation

GMU's School of Management is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB). Mason is one of only 166 schools worldwide with accreditation for both its business and accounting programs. This dual accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools.

Global Perspective

All the Mason graduate programs develop develop forward-thinking, global business leaders and explore the role of management in the complex world economy. The Global Business course includes a week-long international study tour where students meet business and government leaders, participate in seminars, and visit sites of local or multi-national companies.
