A leading business school
Hobsons MBA - Set in the financial and legal capital of the north of England, the School is well positioned to deliver a high-quality education in a lively and exciting environment. International business at the school has been ranked as number one in the world for research and number six for teaching. Other specialist areas of activity include: accounting and finance, decision research, economics, organisational behaviour, corporate governance, human resource management,
and marketing.

The MBA programmes
The Leeds MBA will expand students? knowledge of the fundamental elements of business and management, their integrated nature and relationships. It will refine their investigative, analytical and decision-making skills. It will also develop the interpersonal, communication and technical skills required to achieve results in today's rapidly changing global business environment.

The Leeds MBA offers a wide range of study options. So, if a student wishes to explore one given business area (eg international business, marketing, finance or information management) in greater depth, they can mould their MBA to match their interests. They will get a grounding in ten business and management areas. There is also a range of elective courses in both programmes that provide students with the opportunity to pursue subjects of interest and value to them in their career. They will also have a further element of choice in the MBA project, which is often the most important in meeting career aspirations. This is the single greatest opportunity our students have to link their academic studies to their personal and career aspirations.

After graduation
A dedicated MBA Career Management Centre supports our MBA students throughout the year and after graduation. Services are developed to help students make the most of their personal investment in the MBA. This is not just about finding the right job immediately, but also about developing a set of skills for managing a lifelong career. A good professional and supportive network is invaluable in the modern business world. This is something that our students will develop during and beyond the Leeds MBA. With over 10,000 alumni, Leeds University Business School?s community stretches across the world. A dedicated alumni association will keep our students in touch with the School after graduation by keeping them updated with news, events (both in the UK and overseas), career information and resources, as well as connecting them to fellow alumni.
