Venue, campus and facilities Maastricht is the capital of the Netherlands' southernmost province of Limburg. The city has excellent business, political and cultural resources, and it was famously the place where European leaders met in 1992 to sign the treaty that set up the European Union. Maastricht attracts tourists from all over the world and was declared 'best city of the Netherlands' in 2004. The teaching building is a state-of-the-art architectural design with modern, tastefully furnished lecture and discussion rooms, and plenty of computer workstations with broadband Internet access spread over several rooms. A large information centre has online full-text access to virtually all publications in the area of management and a large collection of books. The centre is networked to other university libraries, so practically all books can be borrowed. Participants enjoy accommodation in a comfortable student residence, conveniently located next to the School building.
