Maryville University, founded in 1872, is a private, coeducational institution with 3,300 students in its undergraduate and graduate programs. The university is ranked by U.S.News & World Report as one of America's "Best Colleges in the Midwest." Maryville also offers 17 undergraduate degrees through its Weekend & Evening College program designed for working adults. Maryville's seven master's degree programs are in actuarial science, business, education, music therapy, nursing, occupational therapy, and rehabilitation counseling; and two doctoral degree programs are offered in educational leadership and physical therapy. Students may attend on a part-time or full-time basis.
