Business School

Overview
Hobsons MBA - Middlesex University Business School is a London-based international business school with extensive professional links and around 5,500 students and staff. With a reputation for teaching excellence and student support, the Business School provides an extremely stimulating environment within one of the liveliest cities in the world.

The MBA
The Middlesex MBA is accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), a recognised benchmark of quality. It balances the business-knowledge needs of the student with the management/leadership skills required by employers.

AMBA accreditation
Our MBA is accredited by AMBA, which is the major independent accreditation body in the UK. The key factor about AMBA accreditation is that it evaluates the MBA programme, not just the University or Business School. MBA graduates gain one year's free AMBA membership.

Learning
The MBA programme covers a range of business topics with significant choice of electives. It provides a holistic, integrated learning experience, drawing on a variety of organisational disciplines and theoretical perspectives. Learning is enhanced through residential experiential workshops; consultancy projects; an individual applied project; and external lectures from major industry heads.

Residential field trips
The Middlesex MBA includes two international field trips, to either Milan or Paris, which are included in the fees. You explore the luxury goods business through a structured series of talks, field research and visits to manufacturing and
service establishments.

Customisable MBAs
We also offer MBAs that can be customised to your company's training needs. If you are an employer interested in high-level training for your executive staff, please contact Dympna Cunnane in the Business Development Unit by e-mail at d.cunnane@mdx.ac.uk or by telephone at +44 (0)20 8411 4724.

The student body
Our MBA students tend to be a diverse mix of male and female professionals, entrepreneurs and other key workers employed in various sectors of industry.
Their average age is around 30 years. We attract international and UK students.

After the MBA
We take your future career planning seriously right from the beginning of the programme.

We offer a series of career workshops provided by specialists within the recruitment industry. Our extensive alumni association also provides excellent networking opportunities among current and former students.
