Overview
Founded in 1823, the Georg-Simon-Ohm University of Applied Sciences Nuremberg is the second largest University of Applied Sciences in Bavaria, with about 8,500 students and more than 250 professors.
The Management Institute The Georg-Simon-Ohm Management Institute (GSO-MI) is an independent institute within the University, which is dedicated exclusively to the provision of higher education geared towards international business (mainly MBA programs).
Quality GSO-MI is ranked Top 3 among Germany's top public universities for its excellent, practice oriented MBA programs at affordable tuition levels by Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft and McKinsey & Company.
International GSO-MI is truly international: approximately 50% of the MBA students are international students from Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and South America. It offers the opportunity to study abroad with its partner universities in the USA (Barry University, Miami) and China (Zhejiang University, Hangzhou).
Personal
An important part of the GSO-MI MBA programs is the emphasis on individual personality development of our students. The systematic approach includes workshops on communication, ethics and leadership skills with introduction by high-profile experts active in the field.
Competent A special MBA Students' Department helps to ensure a plentiful service for all MBA students concerning accommodation, legal issues and cultural problems. Customised MBA programs Our two international MBA programs at GSO-MI allow studies which are focused on the student's needs and background. GSO-MI offers a special customised MBA program for people with a first degree in business and a special MBA program for students with a degree in other disciplines. This leads to a homogeneous learning atmosphere from the beginning.
